Since the release of Chrome version 62.0.3202.74 on Friday Oct 27 2017, we have received reports that occasionally models would crash the browser, the error looks like this:
Then after reloading, you might see:
After some investigation, we've learnt it is caused by some WebGL compatibility changes from Chrome's 62 version update, and because the develop version of 63 does not have this problem, we should assume the problem will automatically go away when 63 releases.
As we are working very hard to get this solved, here are some alternatives. (This issue only affects PC users who work with Revit, all Rhino and Sketchup model uploads have no problems at all.):
1. If you are a Chrome user same as us, you can download this Chrome Canary browser(an experimental version of Chrome) and use it instead, it's almost identical with Chrome, but with no WebGL issues. In this case, you can later switch back to Chrome seamlessly when the issue is solved.
Alternatively, we can roll back to version 61, here is a link to download all older versions of Chrome.
2. Use Firefox temporarily.
